9/17: Phone Bank for the Democracy Fair

Let's make sure Rank MI Vote's Democracy Fair has HIGH TURNOUT!!!

We're running this Democracy Fair and inviting Rank MI Vote's donors and volunteers - those really motivated Ranked Choice Voting advocates - in the vicinity of the fair (Plymouth and surrounds), Attendees will meet pro-RCV candidates, get information about voter registration, election protection, & ballot questions, and have fun with family activities.

WE NEED YOUR HELP to reach potential attendees! Please sign up for one or more two-hour phone banking sessions in the weeks leading up to the September 27 fair. This is a time senstive and high impact volunteer activity!

Our sessions will be on Zoom, where we'll get you started with the phone bank script, have a breakout room for those who haven't phone banked with our new Qomon app yet*, and remain online for the two hours while we all make calls. We'll check in at the end and debrief with successes and learnings.

Dates:

• Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, September 15-17
• Sunday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, September 20
• Tuesday & Wednesdayfrom 6:00 - 8:00 pm, September 22-23
• AND we'll have a Confirm Call phone bank on Saturday, September 26 from 1:00 - 5:00 pm to call all registered attendees with a reminder.

* If you haven't phone banked with us usng the Qomon app yet, it's EASY! If you have time before your first session, you can use the instructions in the Qomon Handout to make a Qomon account, and watch the short phone banking Qomon tutorial (<2 min). But we will have training and support at each phone banking session! (These are also linked below in the Resources section).
